This October, Oku at Regent Phu Quoc transforms into a stage for culinary discovery. Chef Andy Huynh joins Chef Mirko Gatti of Italy’s [Àbitat], a MICHELIN Green Star visionary renowned for transforming sustainability into an art form, to craft a menu born from days of wild foraging, cultural encounters, and coastal traditions.

Leading up to these special dinners, the Chefs will have the opportunity to explore and forage on the island, from its tropical jungles to ocean tides and to meet with some of the resort's trusted producers. From fragrant jungle herbs to the briny sweetness of freshly caught seafood, and from honey still warm in its comb to the pepper’s slow-building heat, each ingredient will find expression on the plate.
The menus for these gourmet events will only be finalised the day prior to them taking place in order for them to be inspired by the Chef’s daily exploration and the finest seasonal ingredients.
Alongside, Sara of [Àbitat] will curate innovative non-alcoholic pairings: crisp kombuchas, velvety infusions, and sparkling ferments, each sip echoing the island’s rhythm. An intimate evening where anticipation is as much a part of the experience as the first bite.

Trước thềm sự kiện, hai đầu bếp sẽ cùng khám phá vẻ đẹp nguyên sơ của đảo ngọc, từ những tán rừng nhiệt đới đến bờ biển ẩm mặn buổi sớm, và gặp gỡ những nhà sản xuất địa phương tâm huyết đã đồng hành cùng khu nghỉ qua từng mùa. Từ thảo mộc dại mang hương vị rừng đậm sâu, hải sản tươi đánh bắt trong ngày với vị mặn dịu và ngọt thanh, đến mật ong còn ấm trong sáp và tiêu chín đỏ với dư vị cay tinh tế, mỗi nguyên liệu là một nốt nhấn thân thuộc mà mới mẻ trong bản hòa âm vị giác lần này.
Thực đơn cho các đêm tiệc ẩm thực được định hình và hoàn thiện ngay trước thềm sự kiện, nhằm giữ trọn cảm hứng từ hành trình khám phá mỗi ngày của Chef và nguồn nguyên liệu theo mùa tinh tuyển.
Song hành cùng bữa tiệc, Sara từ [Àbitat] sẽ tuyển chọn những thức uống không cồn sáng tạo, từ kombucha thanh mát, infusion mượt mà, đến những thức uống lên men sủi tăm, mỗi ngụm đều ngân vang theo nhịp điệu của hòn đảo.
